Was motiviert eigentlich Terroristen? Diese Frage stellt sich aufmerksamen Beobachtern nach jedem Terroranschlag. Und wenn man nicht gerade vom PR-Bombenteppich der Sicherheits-Fetischisten bewusstlos gebombt wurde, dann kommen dabei Gedanken raus wie die hier vom Papst:

"Muslims, Hindus, Catholics, Copts, Evangelists, but brothers, children of the same god, who want to live in peace, integrated. Three days ago, there was a gesture of war, of destruction, in a city of Europe from people who don’t want to live in peace. Behind that gesture there were arms manufacturers, the arms traffickers who want blood, not peace, who want war, not brotherhood."

Finde ich sehr schön, dass mal jemand die Rüstungsindustrie anspricht in dem Kontext. Schade nur, dass das der Papst sein muss.

Aber hey, vielleicht glaubt ihr ja dem Papst nicht und wollt lieber einen Wissenschaftler haben, einen Experten, jemanden, der auf dem Gebiet geforscht hat. Hier ist einer! Und er sagt das hier:

Na sowas! Hätte uns doch nur vorher jemand warnen können!
